The car would not restart so i towed it home and determined the airtex pump #1 went bad after 16 months an 10,000 miles. Tilt the pump module approximately 45 degrees to the right hand side of the tank and lift the pump from the fuel tank. Use of fuel tank cleaning kit ffc01 is recommended.
Remove the fuel cap to equalize the pressure in the fuel tank. Remove the fuel tank from under your saturn. You cannot siphon the tank because there is a blockage at the base of the filler pipe right at the tank.
